A SEAT BY THE WINDOW

On the shore of Lake Superior, Bayfield is the gateway to the Apostle Islands and home to the Madeline Island ferry. Manypenny Bistro sits on the harbor street above the marina — part of the everyday life of Manypenny Avenue.

Dilek and family bring American classics and Turkish flavor to the same table. Breakfast comes with bottomless drip coffee; Turkish Döner and Classic Gyros share the menu with the morning favorites.

Fresh Superior whitefish and lake trout, wood stone oven pizzas, and a full-service bakery with goods baked daily: there's a little of the lake and a little of the oven in the house. Open all year, with dogs welcome on the patio. Dine in, take out, or enjoy free delivery from the lunch and dinner menu.

Absolutely fantastic. This was our fourth attempt at whitefish livers in Bayfield because every other place was out of them, and they were AMAZING! We also had the shrimp cocktail, which is sauteed shrimp here, and they were perfect. To round out the meal we had a 10 inch pepperoni pizza on cauliflower crust - delicious. Great, friendly service. Highly recommend!

Great menu selection including fresh Lake Superior whitefish & lake trout. Gyros, pasta, burgers, wood fired pizza, great cocktails, salads. All menu items that our party of 3 tried were excellent. We returned because the food and service were excellent. Great desserts. Great ambiance, welcoming feeling.

Great food! Husband and I were up here for a wedding and stopped in after driving all day. Our waitress was super kind and friendly. The Boss pizza was delicious and the Italian lemon cake was amazing with raspberry sause.

What an adorable local restaurant. I ate at this location twice during a recent trip to Bayfield. Quite an large variety of options. I had pizza on one visit. It was delicious. The ingredients were fresh and they did not skimp on the toppings. The server did a nice job checking with me to see if I needed anything. On my second visit, I had a delicious burger. Again, the food was really good. The server was friendly. I think the decor is really cute. It was a cozy atmosphere. I want to visit the area again and will stop by this location for another meal.
